Ingredient Notes

All other ingredients and measurements can be found in the recipe card towards the bottom of this post.
- Strawberries. I highly recommend using fresh, ripe strawberries if you can! It just brings out the best and freshest flavors. But you can also use frozen strawberries, freeze-dried strawberries, or strawberry syrup.
- Acai powder. Adds a deep berry flavor and vibrant color. A little goes a long way! This is the powder I use. Grab it online or in grocery stores near the tea aisle.
- White grape juice. The base of our drink. White grape juice keeps it closest to the Starbucks version, but apple juice works too.
- Green tea. Use regular green tea or decaffeinated. You can also use green coffee bean extract or black tea for a stronger flavor.
- Lemon juice. Adds a citrusy kick, adjust the amount to taste. Freshly squeezed is best!
- Raspberries. Adds a tart, fruity flavor. Substitute with blackberries or cherries.
- Garnish. Garnish with fresh strawberry slices, a sprig of mint, a lemon wedge, or a sprinkle of chia seeds.
Recipe Variations
- Add sweetened coconut milk. Add a little coconut milk for a creamy version of this pink drink at home.
- Add passion fruit puree or mango chunks for a tropical twist.
- Strawberry lemonade version. Simply replace white grape juice with lemonade.
- Turn it into a fun summer cocktail. Mix in a splash of vodka, rum, or prosecco.

Tips for Strawberry Refresher Acai
- Dissolve acai powder properly. Mix acai powder with a small amount of warm water before adding it to the drink to prevent clumps.
- Brew the green tea strong. If using green tea, steep it longer than usual (about 5 minutes) to enhance the flavor without making it bitter.
- If you like a sweeter drink, add a touch of honey, agave, or simple syrup. If you prefer it tarter, add an extra splash of lemon juice.
