Ingredient Notes

Ingredients needed to make this recipe on a white counter in small bowls.

All other ingredients and measurements can be found in the recipe card towards the bottom of this post.

  • Roast Beef. I use roast beef from the deli! It makes it quick and easy.
  • Provolone. Thinly sliced will work best for melting.
  • Sliders. I used Hawaiian sliders so they add a little buttery sweetness to the mix. Also try my BBQ Chicken Sliders for another great snack!
  • Onions. This is optional, I like some thinly sliced yellow onion.
  • Mayo. Mayonnaise is used to create the tangy sauce!
  • Horseradish. This adds a wonderful bite to the sandwich you will enjoy.
  • Worcestershire Sauce. This adds a great depth of savory flavor to the roast beef sliders.
  • Dijon. Use dijon or whole grain mustard. This is the sauce on the sandwich.
  • Seasoning. A little salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika for flavoring the butter spread on the rolls.
  • Butter. For flavor and to help brown the rolls.

Recipe Variations

  • Make these sliders on Homemade Garlic Rolls instead of sliders!
  • These flavors also pair great with ham if you want to switch up the meat.

Recipe Pairings

These sliders are great on their own but they are even better paired with Cheesesteak Sliders, or a nice Kale Crunch Salad. You can also pair it with Homemade Crispy Fries or even Mediterranean Cucumber Salad.

Recipe Tips

  • If the sliders are not cutting easily, try letting them sit out for just a few minutes, it will help make them less “fresh” and therefore less sticky.
  • Chop the roast beef. You can chop up the roast beef deli meat before placing it on the sliders to make for an easier cut/serve.
  • Taste as you go! You may want more horseradish or more Worcestershire.
  • Don’t overcook the sliders! They just need to brown up and soak up the flavorful butter mix.

Recipe FAQs

How can I cut my sliders without ruining them?

Let the sliders cool completely before cutting into them, this will help flavors to solidify. You can also chop the onions and roast beef up into small pieces to help with the cutting before serving so they stay nice and neat.

What do I do with Leftover Roast Beef Slider Butter?

Feel free to brush any leftover butter mix over the finished sliders to give them even more flavor and a nice finished gloss look.
