Why Make These Oven Baked Jalapeño Poppers

These jalapeño poppers are much more flavorful than your average poppers.

  • They bake up quickly and are gluten-free. Baked jalapeño poppers are the perfect snack or appetizer.
  • This recipe uses pre cooked bacon to top them with so it offers a good crunch to the popper. Enjoy! Looking for another crowd pleasing appetizer? Try Cream Cheese Corn Dip for a wonderful dip to pair with these!

Ingredients Needed

Ingredients to make this recipe on a counter in small bowls.
  • Jalapeños. Take the seeds out before stuffing! If you can’t handle the heat, you can use green peppers.
  • Seasoning. Onion, garlic powder, salt, pepper, italian seasonings
  • Sour Cream. this is used to thin the goat cheese mix and make it more spreadable
  • Goat Cheese. I use all goat cheese but you can use 50/50 cream cheese or all cream cheese if you’d like.
  • Panko Breadcrumbs. For extra crunch and flavor.
  • Cooked Bacon Bits. I cook my own bacon and chop it up. This is optional!
  • Green Onions. For garnish.
  • Buffalo Sauce. Optional for drizzling.

These are fantastic made them for Labor Day weekend BBQ party everyone was impressed.

  2. Note to self… remove ALL of the seeds. Left in a couple for added heat but that was not needed. These things are fire regardless!

  3. These are the perfect app for football season! I might make them/request them every Sunday.
