Equipment

  • medium sized mixing bowl
  • whisk

Ingredients

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 4 Tbsp dijon mustard
  • 2 Tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • ½ Tbsp cayenne pepper *more or less to taste
  • 1 tsp hot sauce *see notes
  • 2-4 Tbsp honey *see notes

Instructions

  • In a medium size bowl, add all the ingredients, whisk well. You can now add 1-4 Tbsp of water (one at a time) to thin the sauce to your preferred consistency.
  • Taste the sauce, add more honey to sweeten it up or more cayenne pepper and hot sauce to make it spicier. Serve with chicken tenders, veggies, on Turkey Burgers or Honey Mustard Chicken Wraps.

Notes

* I use Franks Hot Sauce, you can use any hot sauce of choice. Add a little at a time and taste as you go
*Start with 2 Tbsp of honey and add more as needed to taste.
*This recipe will make about 1- 1.25 cups of sauce.
Store leftovers in an airtight glass jar or container. This sauce will keep in the fridge for up to 4 days. You may need to add a little water to thin it out after refrigeration, this is optional.
