Equipment

  • medium sized sauce pan

Ingredients

  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • ½ cup honey
  • 1 tsp avocado oil
  • cup cheerios *see notes
  • ¼ tsp sea salt

Instructions

  • Add honey, oil, salt and peanut butter to a medium size sauce pan. Stir the mixture over low heat. Once warm, and just beginning to bubble remove from heat.
  • Pour in cheerios (and any add-ins if you choose) and mix well with a spatula. In a parchment lined 7x7 or similar size dish, press the cereal mix down firmly into the dish. The smaller the dish the thicker the bars, if it's a bigger dish they will just be slightly thinner. Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least one hour.
  • Once they are chilled and sticking together firmly, pop them out of the dish and slice into bars. Enjoy!
