Servings: 6
- ½ cup creamy peanut butter
- ½ cup honey
- 1 tsp avocado oil
- 3½ cup cheerios *see notes
- ¼ tsp sea salt
Add honey, oil, salt and peanut butter to a medium size sauce pan. Stir the mixture over low heat. Once warm, and just beginning to bubble remove from heat.
Pour in cheerios (and any add-ins if you choose) and mix well with a spatula. In a parchment lined 7x7 or similar size dish, press the cereal mix down firmly into the dish. The smaller the dish the thicker the bars, if it's a bigger dish they will just be slightly thinner. Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least one hour.
Once they are chilled and sticking together firmly, pop them out of the dish and slice into bars. Enjoy!
