Margherita Flatbread

- 2 flatbreads
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ tsp crushed, dried oregano
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- ⅓ cup fresh mozzarella
- 1 vine ripe tomato
- 2 tbsp fresh basil
- 2 tbsp balsamic glaze
Set oven to 375º. While the oven is warming, mix the seasonings together in a small bowl. Lay flatbread onto a cooking sheet. brush the breads with olive oil then evenly sprinkle the seasoning on the bread. Add the minced garlic.
Add the fresh Mozzarella and the tomatoes evenly to the breads. Place on center rack in the oven and bake for 10 -15 minutes or until cheese is melted, bubbly and the flatbread starts to brown.
Let the Margherita flatbread cool for about 1 minute. Add the fresh basil leaves and generously drizzle the balsamic glaze. Slice with a pizza cutter and enjoy!
