Equipment

  • High Speed Blender

Ingredients

  • cup cottage cheese full fat works best
  • tbsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp dried basil
  • ½ tsp dried dill
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp fresh cilantro more for garnish

Instructions

  • Using a high-speed blender, combine the cottage cheese, lemon juice, and seasonings. Blend until the cottage cheese is smooth, with a whipped consistency. Taste it and if you’d like more salt or garlic powder add more. You can also add 1-2 tbsp water to thin it out to desired texture.
  • Add the dip to a small serving bowl (it makes about 1½ cups of dip) and pair with fresh veggies, chips, or crackers.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days.

Notes

    • If the sauce is too thick, you can add 1-2 tablespoons of water to thin it out to your desired texture.
    • While blending, you can periodically stop to scrape down the sides with a spatula to ensure all the cottage cheese gets evenly blended.
    • To make it creamier, you can add a tablespoon of plain Greek yogurt or sour cream.
  • Nutrition facts do not include dipping sides (veggies/chips and so on)
