Course: Salad
Cuisine: American
Diet: Gluten Free
Servings: 4
- ⅓ cup Lemon Herb Tahini Dressing
- 12 oz filet or sirloin steaks
- 1 Tbsp steak seasoning * I use Montreal Steak Seasoning
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- 4 hard boiled eggs, chopped
- 8 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
- ½ cup cherry tomatoes, sliced
- ¼ cup corn kernels
- 1 Tbsp shallots, chopped or red onion.
- 1 small avocado, sliced or chopped
- fresh thyme or basil for garnish
Make The Dressing! Pick the dressing you like (if making your own) and whip it up. Set it aside.
Season the steak on both sides. Grill on a clean grill, on medium/high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side for a medium cook.
Let the steak rest for about 5 minutes, slice into thin strips.
Assemble the salad! Add all the chopped ingredients to a large bowl or serving tray, top with dressing, garnish and steak. Serve and enjoy.
- Cook the steak how you like it. You make the rules here, make it rare, medium or well done whatever makes you happy.
- Chop The Ingredients with a slap chopper. This really helps keep the food in equal sizes and makes it easier to "chop"
- Prepare the dressing and hard boiled eggs ahead of time for a super quick prep.
- Add or Omit any ingredients you prefer! Try this recipe with crispy bacon bits (so good!)
