Baked Goat Cheese Dip

- 1 4 oz log of goat chèvre
Optional Pairing With The Dip/Spread
- 4 slices of toasted bread *
- 2 tbsp honey *
- 8 fresh figs *read notes for other flavor combinations
Take the goat cheese chèvre, place it in an oiled ramekin about 4 inch in size. gently press on it so it is even on the bottom of the container. and bake on broil low for about 8 minutes or less. Keep a close eye on it. Once the top starts to brown and get a nice crust, pull it out. In the meantime, slice your figs and toast your bread.
Once the goat cheese is baked, gently stir it a bit and spread it over the toast. Add fresh figs and honey and enjoy right away.
*You can just make the goat cheese dip and use crackers to dip. You can also drizzle honey over it and dip.
*If you want to make a savory spread, add in 2 tablespoons of olive tapenade or sun dried tomatoes. Any antipasto will also work.
