Prep Time20 minutes
Course: Dessert
Cuisine: American
Servings: 15

Equipment

  • fork
  • mixing bowls

Ingredients

  • 30-40 Oreo cookies *see notes
  • cup white chocolate bark or chips!
  • 1-2 tsp orange food coloring
  • 3 Tbsp coconut oil *see notes, more as needed
  • ¼ cup green milk candy coated chocolates *like milk chocolate m&ms
  • ¼ cup pretzel pieces

Instructions

  • Gather the ingredients. Carefully cut the green m&ms in half with a sharp knife, set them aside in a small bowl. Break the pretzels into small "stems" and set aside. Add chocolate to a large bowl, add coconut oil. Microwave for 30 seconds. Add the food coloring. Stir. Microwave again in 30 second increments until it's nice and thin, runny and add more coloring if needed.
  • Get a parchment lined cookie sheet ready and nearby. Place the cookie on the fork and gently dunk into the orange chocolate. I gently tap the fork with coated cookie on the edge of the bowl to shake off excess (photo 2). I then wipe the fork along the bowl edge before I place the cookie on the parchment paper (photo 3). This helps get the excess chocolate off.
  • Finish all the cookies. Carefully place the small pretzel piece on the top of the cookie. Next, very carefully, add the green m&m halves to either side of the pretzel towards the top. Then, use a toothpick or knife to "rough" up the texture to look like lines, like a pumpkin has. Carefully add the cookie sheet to the fridge or freezer for about 10 minutes to harden, then enjoy!

Notes

*any round cookie sandwich style cookie will work (JoJos and so on). Use any flavor Oreo you prefer. You can also use peanut butter cups it you don't like Oreos style cookies.
*The number of oreos varies on how thick or thin your white Chocolate is.
*you may need more oil, please read instructions. You can also use canola oil but it may not solidify as easily and need to be refrigerated.
