Core the apples and slice vertically into doughnut-size rings.
Mix the batter. Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon with a whisk.
Add in the almond milk, mix well. If batter is too thick, add a few more tablespoons of milk.
Heat the oil in a deep-frying pan (or a deep pan) to 180˚C (350°F).
Evenly coat each apple slice in the batter mix by dipping both sides.
Carefully lay the doughnuts into the oil and fry for a few minutes on each side, until golden brown.
Gently remove them from the oil, blot with a paper towel and flip around in the cinnamon sugar topping.
Eat them as is, or dunk them in fudge, caramel or icing. Enjoy.
