Peanut Butter Banana Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas about one cup
  • ½ cup peanut butter *
  • 1⅓ cup oats *
  • ¼ cup protein powder any will work
  • ½ tsp salt optional for flavor
  • ½ cup chocolate chips

Optional Icing

  • ½ cup powdered sugar or confectioner sugar
  • ½ tsp almond milk or water

Instructions

  • Set oven to 350º Mash up bananas well. Be sure there are no chunks. Add in peanut butter, oats, salt, chocolate chips and protein.
  • Once dough is mixed, it should be sticky! Place 1 - 1.5 inch balls on a parchment lined cookie sheet. Press them down lightly. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Let them cool before enjoying.
  • Optional: Drizzle on two ingredient icing once completely cooled. Whisk 1/2 cup powdered sugar with 1/2 tsp water or milk. Add more sugar to thicken. Add a small amount more of liquid to thin if needed.
