Fresh Green Salsa
This recipe for fresh green salsa is perfect for taco night, eggs, chips and dip and more.
- 2 tbsp grated or finely chopped onions
- 1 lb green tomatilla tomatoes (about 1½ cup chopped)
- 1 chopped jalapeño
- ½ cup chopped cilantro
- 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp minced garlic
- ¼ tsp pepper
- 1 chopped avocado
Chop tomatoes, cilantro, onions and jalepeño place in a medium sized bowl. Add in seasoning (pepper, salt, garlic). Add squeezed lime juice and chopped avocado. Cover and place in fridge to marinate for at least 30 minutes (it will be bitter if you don't let it refridgerate for a bit! do not skip this step). Serve with chips or on eggs anything you prefer!
