If you know me, you know I am a huge fan of CBD oil and the benefits it’s had on my and my family.
Since I am clearly a big proponent of it, I thought I would share a simple way to incorporate it into an everyday snack if you don’t like the idea of taking the oil on its own. I know a lot of foodies and health conscious people make balls to snack on thought the week filled with superfoods… so I figured this was one of those perfect times to incorporate some CBD oil or in this case CBD honey. I get my from a local dispensary (pic below) and if you can’t find honey in your area you may be able to get some online or you can just use a dropper of CBD oil. Either way these little anxiety balls are sure to be good and only have 5 simple ingredients in them.
Heres what you need:
- 1 cup of soaked dried figs (soak them in warm water for an hour and drain the liquid)
- 1/4 C of Salba Chia Seeds (premium white chia seeds)
- 1/4 C of hemp hearts
- 1 C of almond butter
- 3 tbs of CBD honey or 4 dropper full if using the oil
Blend in a food processor… roll into balls on parchment paper and refrigerate. Eat whenever you feel anxious or had a tough workout (or anytime really) .
