Walnut Brownie Freezer Fudge

This “treat” is perfect for a post workout protein boost or as a nice sweet treat when you need a mid day pick me up. Ever since I made my first batch of freezer fudge I have been hooked, the options and flavor combinations are endless. You can also add in a lot of fun toppings. This one paired perfectly with fresh raspberries (that I froze on to the top!). This recipe should only take you about 15 to 20 minutes from start to frozen ready to eat!.

Ingredients:

  • 1 C of Walnut Brownie nut butter ( I purchased mine from Project Juice Online)

    • If you don’t want to buy this brand you can simply add 2 tbs of cocoa powder and a handful of crushed walnuts and use 1 C of regular almond butter

  • 2 tbs of melted coconut oil

  • 2 scoops of vanilla protein powder (I have used MRM veggie elite protein powder and Ancient Nutrition vanilla bone broth protein powder both work great!)

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tbs maple syrup

  • Parchment Paper

  • Small rectangle shaped dish (to form the fudge while freezing)

Directions:

  • Blend all ingredients in a vitamix or with a hand mixer

  • Place parchment paper in dish covering the sides and pour mixture into dish

  • Place into freezer flat so the bark is even in thickness sprinkle topping (I did crushed raspberries)

  • Freeze for 10 minutes.

  • Pull our and break fudge into portions. Use a knife if its too thick then wrap the fudge in the parchment paper and keep frozen – pull out treats as need/wanted (they will melt easily so be sure to eat them fresh from the freezer)
